Hi,

I have been reading about/following Brill Kids for a bit, but haven’t gotten the programs yet. My son, Chase, who has DS, just turned one this week and loves word cards. I was super excited about the IPad Little Reader and downloaded it immediately. I found a lot of the other flashcards apps for the IPad are very cartoony or very limited.

We went through a few of the lessons and he was really engaged. Two nights ago, when some technicians were adding a ton of sensors to him for a sleep study, I used the Little Reader programs to distract him. The videos incorporated into the cards were a great surprise. I am very anxious to get the programs as I think they will really hit right on how he likes to learn.

Hello & Welcome! That’s pretty cool to hear about how LR helped your son through a difficult test. That was smart thinking to pull out the ipad. :slight_smile: What on earth did we do before these things, LOL?
