Hi there!

Hi everybody,

My name is Maggie Lo and my baby’s name is Andrea. She is already 7 months old and we have started Little Reader for about a month or so. She loves the nursery rhymes and music. But she seems to get frustrated from looking at the flashcards for too long. I try to have music in between the flashcard sessions. Do you experience the same problem? It would be great if you could share your experience with me.

Maggie

Hi and welcome to the forums. It is great to have you here.
If your baby seems frustrated, you might be showing too many lessons at one time. I recommend only showing as many as she seems interested in watching. Some times it may be more, sometimes less. The object is to keep it fun, so stop once she starts looking around, fidgeting or fussing. This will keep it exciting and will keep her looking forward to the next session. You can also split your lessons up to several different times a day. So for example, you could show 3 categories in the morning, 3 later in the afternoon, and then 3 more before bed.

Let us know if this helps or if you have any other questions.
Nikki
