The child was born in Hong Kong. The family, however, is living in Shenzhen.

Say, crossing border is not a main concern, should the child be educated in Hong Kong or in China?

Hong Kong’s education system is good in the in-school knowledge, but for the others it’s not really good.
In China , though English learning is not as good in Hong Kong, children can learn how to take care of live and other thing themselves better.

Hard decision ya… so how to think of it if it was you ?

i think it all depends on the school, perhaps better for you to compare the schools and not the location.
not all hk schools are good in terms of education, and not all hk children are incapable of taking care of themselves. Are you referring to the cases where a 9 yo still can’t tie own shoelace or wash own hair… Those are extreme cases where they rely too much or totally on maids…
