Hi people

I have a daughter and 2 sons who are all grown up and living around the country. My daughter has a beautiful baby boy of 8 mths. Last year we fostered a 2 mth old black baby girl. She is the delight of our lives. She is now 15 mths old and bright as a button. It has been a wonderful experience for us because we were very young when we had our children, and we now have time to watch and learn from this little child what we have forgotten. Must say it certainly keeps us hopping having a toddler around. lol . We live in Port Elizabeth in South Africa.

Welcome!!

Isn’t it amazing how you can love a child who isn’t yours just as much as if he/she was?? Children are wonderful–whether you give birth to them or not!!

Hi Malma! Welcome to the forums! It always a wonderful thing to hear about happy families with foster and adopted children that are doing so well. It also amazes me what young ones can learn and how quickly they pick things up. Isn’t it a joy to watch how they grow from day to day!?
