Hi there,

I’m mom to an awesome 5yr old girl, Myrdin, who has Down syndrome. I found this site/forum via a blog post that came from a local Down syndrome homeschooling email group I am part of.

I’m looking for effective and efficient ways to help my daughter learn reading and math, and am excited to try out alot of what’s offered here to see if it meshes well with her learning style.

I live in the Akron, OH area with my husband, who was recently medically retired from the Marine Corps. We had some great experiences while he was active duty, and we’re enjoying settling back into civilian life. :slight_smile:
