Actually kizsports do offer once a week program @ 1 hour at RM160/month. Maybe you all can try this out. About pre-school, have you ever thought of a montessori-based preschool. I enrolled my son with other enrichment but feels montessori learning is also important. So I enrolled him into a full montessori-based preschool. You will be amazed with the results but the fees are expensive too.
If you could incorporate these few programs together, your child will be superb…ha ha ha  montessori curriculum, Shichida the right brain program, tweedlewink…especially their wink program for child to heal and destress to reach their highest potential, and heguru the right and left brain program. Try to incorporate the kumon especially their maze; brillkid’s little math and little reader.
Teoh, no worries about the music class time slot, the teacher is very flexible. The academy is open from morning till 8pm except Monday. You can discuss with her your time.
Hi! After reading the posts below, I just felt i had to say something. I have been with Musikhaus since they were in IKANO and Im still with them now and contrary honestly, one of the reasons why I’m still with them is because I’m really impressed by the teaching and experience of the owner, Pat. My boy has done so well ever since joining them. I personally havent seen Pat say anything like what has been mentioned below but I obviously havent been to every Musikhaus class so I really cannot comment on that. However, I think its fair to say that the perception of what the teacher should or shouldn’t say is really quite subjective, and some parents may be ok with some words whereas others may not be. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion so maybe those who havent should just try it out for themselves to see if it fits their child. I tried a few centres and ended up in Musikhaus. We also went through a couple of teachers in Musikhaus, both of them trained by the principal herself. They always start off pretty average but subsequently after training become good, and then eventually leave. Then another batch of teachers will come in inexperienced, and subsequently become good as well. Im really happy with the highly interactive environment that has allowed my boy to grow, from a very shy introvert personality to become very confident, and daring enough to speak up. Anyway, i dont think Im the only one who feels this way seeing that most of the classes I attended were quite busy. As for Shichida, we were there for a year and when Tweedle Winks and heguru were founded, many good teachers left shichida to join them. My friend and I still find schichida good as teachers turnover is something to expect…so long as good training is consistently provided.
May I know the address of tweedle wink in Puchong and Damansara Perdana? the center in TTDI just told me they do renovation. According to what you say they no longer tweedle wink. So, can you give me more information about the TW in Puchong or Damansara Perdana. eg: phone number.
The centres in Puchong and Damansara Perdana are not opened yet. They are targetting somewhere in Nov/Dec. So I don’t have their numbers. Maybe you can wait a while longer. I myself am waiting for them to open so that I can try it out.
The one in Taman Tun is no longer under TW. They may say they are similar to TW, but the new teachers are definitely not trained by Pamela.

My elder daughter is also going to start her 1st lesson in Heguru on this thurs (5/11). How about yours? Did you attend the parenting talk by Mr Henmi on last saturday?
So glad to hear from you, my daughter also start her 1st lesson in Heguru but is on this sat (7/11). What time do you choose on thursday?
I didn’t attend the parenting talk on last saturday, did u attend and how you feel?
Hi Madeline,
My daughter is attending thurs morning 10.15am class.
ya, i attended the parant talk . initially i wasn’t so confident about Heguru as it is pretty new here and not much infor on website as compare to shichida. i chose Heguru bcos Shichida KL can’t confirm a slot for my kids and i’ve been waiting for months.
after listening to the talk by Mr & Mrs Henmi, and heard from some parents who previously sent their kids to shichida but now they r in Heguru, i’m more confident w the centre now.
anyway, still hv to wait till my kid attend the class first before i can make futher comment, especially on the quality of the sensei.
My daughter actually went for the trial class, and i feel quite good just that she sometimes not really concentrate especially sensei doing flashcard. Hope she’ll improve next time. haha
Can you share with me after your daughter 1st class in heguru? By the way, where r u staying?
My daughter got a ‘culture shock’ today …haha…because previously i brought her to kindermuzik every thurs, and that was really fun. and today, she didn’t expect something so different, especially the sensei started with a really ‘loud’ voice and everything was done really “FAST”!
but luckily she then start to enjoy the session after the sensei asked her to go to the front to introduce herself to the class. phew
I think yr daughter will enjoy in the class. how many students in the class? Last time my daughter went for the trial class was 6 in the class. I also feel that the teaching method is very fast & with fun too. Actually, i think if they enjoy in the class, then they’ll learn.
i stay in Bandar Sri Damansara, At first I wanted to send my daughter to Shichida at Centrepoint, Bandar Utama (near my house), but also in waiting list… then my cousin recommended me to Heguru. Hope my daughter also enjoy in the class.
during the parenting talk, i heard from some parents who sent their kids to both shichida and heguru said both center used the same kind of materials . so, i guess it shoud be the same for home practice as well.
the thursday class also got 6 students. i notice the sensei is wearing a special kind of ‘glove’ when she flash the cards . she told me they got it from japan and can help to order for us if we really want it. maybe you can check with the sensei during the next class. i think by wearing it, will help us to flash faster and easier at home haha, not dropping the card
Hi,
May I know what are the class activities compare to Shichida? What kind of games they comsists of?
Do they hv ESP, hand reading, photographic memory, speed reading, image training, linking memory like shichida?
Hi momsof2,
I am not sure what kind of 'glove; thingy that u are referring to. Does she wear on the hand or finger? Actually u can buy those thumb stall (u can find them in book shops) u wear on ur finger. I can flash 2-3 cards in a second if I am wearing it. Without it will be one sec a card.
Now I laminate all my cards so it has e same effect, I am able to flash 2-3 cards per sec too.
Do you laminate all the flashcards that you make ? I find it hard to flash fast using ivory card , but i love those sold at Shichida and i find that my daughter pays more attention. the downside is that it is hard to print on these cards as it is smooth surface.
Hi lucky mummy,
Heguru also hv photographic memory, speed reading, image training, linking memory etc…is it same with Shichida?
Hi momsof2,
huh! I didn’t notice the sensei is wearing glove during they flashing the card! Really can flash faster? let me check out this weekend. Thanks.
Hi Tsai,
Yep I laminate all my flash cards. It is really easy to flash after laminatation. U can try 10 cards n feel the difference. Or u can buy the thumb stall that I mentioned. Those that are sold in Shichida school is 350gsm. Unless your printer can go though this thickness or else u hv to glue on.
And like u mentioned some cards r glossy finishing so the ink might run if u print direct. Or u hb to leave the cards over night for it to dry totally before printing at e back. Or to start flashing.
I usually buy 250gsm with both side matte to print. I can use the card the moment I finish printing them. But like I mentioned before, I will laminate them as well. This way the cards can keep for a long time n I don’t mind my son playing w them.
Hi madeline cheah,
Shichida has all these also. Is the founder of this new school a ex staff of Shichida? If yes they should hv similar activity.
Can u share more details abt the class activities? I would love to find out more details. For speed reading can you please help me find out what materials are they using? If possible where to buy them.
