I am the paranoid parent when it comes to vaccines. I have vaccinated my son, but have done it on my terms, separating vaccines rather than giving them all at once. And here we go again…the swine flu shot is so new it scares me. They need to administer 2 shots and no one is sure of the side effects. I am wondering what you are thinking.
Thanks Skylark! What do you know about Gardasil? I have a 13 yr. old that “should” get it, but I have also postponed that vaccine. I have done some research and like the H1N1 vaccine are controversial.
Remember, you just need to make sure that you make informed decision, and chose what is best for your child based on the evidence and facts, and not what some doctors would tell you.
For instance, our pediatritian believes herself that both HB and Gardasil vaccines are not necessary and dangerous, but of course the choice is in the hands of the parents…
