She picked up one of her sister’s old one and read it out loud
In goes the plum
In goes the banana (actually said nana)
In goes the watermelon
In goes the grapes
In goes the ice cream
In goes the spoon.

I remember when my DS read his first reader at 19 mos, that was LR simple sentences: I see a dog, I see a cat, I see an elephant… I was so happy and I went straight to the library to bring many EZ readers :happy: That’s a big milestone in EL! You must be so proud of her :yes: Kuddos

tHANKS EVERYONE. I know I shouldn’t be surprised as I know the kids are capable of so much but I was so surprised to see her do so well. I have not tested her at all just shown her LR and reading bear. So when she started reading it I was stunned. I thought she was not that far along but I was wrong.
