http://www.classicsforkids.com is a website provided by WGUC, a classical radio station in Cincinnati. It has a lot of information about famous composers. This is a good website for perhaps ages 5 and up. They have a lot of bios and a regular podcast with music and information about various composers. This is their podcast list: http://www.classicsforkids.com/podcasts/classicsforkids2.xml. My 6 year old loves listening to these podcasts.
Yes, it is really good, we’ve done it with my girl since she was 1.5, listening to the music and audio stories and I would usually show additional pictures of instruments and so on. Thank you for sharing!
