Good Youtube channel for teaching reading to toddlers

Koomakids is a YouTube channel with videos that are designed teach English to Japanese children. But they are really good for baby reading, at least for toddlers. I used them with my second child. They are fun, repetitive songs with animation, so it catches kids attention. The text is very large, so it’s easy for kids to read the text while they listen to the songs.

Absolutely. We’ve used this too. My daughter’s most favorite all time Kooma video is What Color is the Sky?

Love it! Thanks so much for sharing.

My 6 yr old son who has Down syndrome is really enjoying these! He loves the rhythm in the songs and the computer desk becomes his drum. He beats on the desk with both hands, then claps his hands, then beats on the desk, then claps the whole way through the songs. Best of all, he is singing along, and learning his colors, and learning good sentence sturcture. Great painless speech therapy! Thanks for sharing this Youtube channel! Justin’s Mom
