My neighbor was telling me about her 3 year old granddaughter the other day who recently started school. When I inquired as to whether or not she liked it she answered, “No!”.
Of course I asked, “Why not?”
To which she quoted her granddaughter as saying, “I can’t read. I can’t write and they won’t let me talk.”
Poor thing. Another perfect candidate for early learning to learn to read before going to school.
