Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if you had activities that your one your old really enjoyed doing? Excluding Flash Cards / Educational DVDs?

coloring, building with blocks or megablocks, simple puzzles, reading books, play instruments, putting in and taking out, anything with buttons and/or cause and effect.

I used to take my son to see things - the science center, the planetarium, the bird park, the butterfly farm, the aquarium, etc. He loved them!

Our eldest (16 months) loves to play instruments, practice phonics with magnetic letters, play on www.kneebouncers.com, sort (we used plastic drawer organizers and plastic cutlery today - colored craft sticks are also a good sorting activity), playing on the park swing and slide, watching Stanley the Skeleton on www.sciencewithme.com, reading books from www.progressivephonics.com, dancing to any music, pasting activities, drawing on her magnadoodle, and painting with fingers or a brush.
