French & Spanish Help for 3 Year Old Needed

Hi folks -

Just found this forum and have two separate questions.

My child is 3 1/2 years and equally proficient in Spanish and English. I would like to start introducing French to her now, as she will start a French immersion school at age 5. Can anyone recommend programs for this? DVD’s software, etc. Her mother is fairly proficient in French, but chooses to speak only Spanish to her now (hopefully this will change though).

Separately, I’m am looking for materials for teaching children to read in Spanish. Something like the following book for teaching children to read in English:

I have been disappointed that I have not been able to find anything suitable. I just started the English reading program for her, and it is going well. However, I want to start a Spanish program and cannot find good materials. Everything just seems to focus on vocabulary, rather than actually teaching the child to read. Do you have any suggestions?

This question regularly gets asked on this forum. If you do a search on the forum it will come up with a lot of good recommendations for French DVDs, books etc

How about Speak and Read French, a set of 4 DVDs by Wink to Learn. I’ve purchased it and I’m considering selling it.
