My 15 month daughter has really been picking up the sign language lately, and I’d like to integrate it with the flashcards somehow. Would you add in a sign during a flashcard session,? If so it would be word, picture, sign then word. Or do you think that will detract from the fast flash method?
I don’t know if there is really a right or wrong way to do this. We always made sure that reading words were fast flashed most of the time. When teaching the same signs, we would either teach them during a separate session, or fast flash first, then go through more slowly showing the sign & of course incorporating the sign throughout the day as much as possible.
I wondered that myself
