Five Senses

Five Senses

  1. Auditory
  2. Visual
  3. Touch
  4. Smell
  5. Taste
are you working towards developing your baby’s five sense & how?
On my side Auditory & Visual are very well taken care off… my son recognizes a lot of different sounds and visuals with brain stimulation cards…
as far as other 3 are concerned I make him touch & smell different spices , fruits & vegetables… but I am not sure what else can be done… can you help me?

It seems you have named all the senses except for taste. Your baby will learn all the senses naturally. For example:

Food

  1. He will smell chicken cooking. (Smell)

  2. If fried, he will hear the chicken cooking. (Auditory)

  3. He will see the chicken. (Visual)

  4. He will feel the texture and the shape of each piece. (Touch)

  5. Finally, he will associate the smell and the image of the chicken with the taste.

I NEVER STOP TO THINK IN THAT WAY… ITS AMAZING

That’s right like Doman said, Kids use their five senses to learn, even with boxes, they smell it,feel it,see it,they will throw it to listen what sound it makes and they will chew on it to see how it tastes. isn’t it great?? Yes let them investigate, don’t limitat them!!
Kid’s brain in THE ONLY CONTAINER will hold all the information you put on it!!

All 5 senses are being constantly developed, we are just teaching them to express what they discover in appropriate words.
