I agree that early childhood is a crucial time to start the habit of learning to read. Great tips. On the program, speaking from experience, not every child learns to read the same way. I have seen so many children taught in a single theory of learning to literacy but not every child fits that mold. Research is DEFINITELY recommended. Know your child, and where they struggle then finds a program that fits. “Children are made readers on the laps of their parents” (love that quote).
