I’ve returned to work full and my daughter is cared for at a nice lady’s home.
She spends mornings with a 1yo and the afternoons with the baby and a 5 year old .
I’m impressed with the quality of care so far, many outdoors activities, and the lady does sit down to play with my daughter a lot especially when the little one is asleep.
I can feel that this mum would understand (to a certain extend, I wouldn’t ask her to do ‘flashcards’, for example) my learning goals and was wondering what type of activities I could suggest she does with my daughter.
I do spend a LOT on family day care (over 1/3 of my wages!) and am feeling really guilty that she now spends almost 40hrs a week away from me, and I can only teach her during the week end.
Any suggestions?
