I recently bought the above book andI am SO disappointed with the illustrations!

As a specialist in early childhood education, I would EXPECT that Janet would know that children love colourful, bold illustrations. You can barely see what’s drawn on the page! The colours are wishy washy, the illustrations are sketched and filled in with watercolour pain or something similar, and overall gets a 0 out of 10 from me!

What a disappointment!

I was looking at that book just yesterday and you are right. I love the illustrations in the Maisy books by Lucy Cousins. I think she is my favorite illustrator for kids books.
