Employment Policies

Just to give you heads up on the new information on your homeschooled child with a regular homeschool diploma. The new employment policies are changning. Here we have found out that in order for your graduated child to get a job from a state or government job they must have graduated from a certified state school and or some says accredited by the state or they have to take their GED in their state. So we have been doing our normal homeschool diploma but then allowing the children to take the GED even if they are in college and some already have degrees have to go back and take their GED due to the new employment policies. Also to give you heads up the military in some divisions will no longer accept the GED or homeschool diploma either unless one year of college has been taken. But hey no problem for us homeschoolers we are on track. And please make sure that your county and or state recognizes the ‘so called’ accredited homeschool, because each state and or county or government is different. Just becasue it says nationally accredited or accreditied doesn’t mean that your state or county recognizes the agency.

thanks so much for the heads up on that

You are welcome and remember that it has to say those things in their policy book or employment policy or regulation book if not then it can be argued.
