EK With LR Instead of Cards?

I was just wondering if it’s possible to do a EK program with LR or if I should just make cards and do it that way?
I’m not lazy, just have a serious lack of funds for making cards, like buying the paper. What is a good place to get paper, anyway in the US? I was thinking about just using 8"x11" regular cardstock. Any suggestions?
I would like to make the cards, but don’t want to waste so much time if I can just do it on LR. Let me know your thoughts! Thanks.
I can’t wait to start doing EK with my daughter who will be 1 year old in 5 days.

Yes, you can do it with LR. There are some EK files that have been uploaded and there used to be a group on the EK board.

i posted this before but didn’t get any reply … i live in a very remote area and cannot go o the store and test a printer to see if i am happy with it . i had beofre an hp phot printer which was really good but of course the cartridges cost a lot . it broke down and now i am using one that my friend gave me but still need to buy my own and was looking at the laser printers . i know they are a lot more expensive by it seems the cost of print is a lot cheaper . would like to know somebody who got one and is happy for it specially for colored photo prints for montessori three part cards and EK . please any recommendations ???

I guess I just posted a similar thread to this. Is there any talk of BrillKids developing an EK program for purchase in the future?

yes i would love if brillkids made a ek program
like the multisensory only with real facts
i hate the opinions like “girls like to use pink”

Oh my gosh I thought I was the only one, I roll my eyes every time I hear that one LOL. Along with “rats are like mice but much bigger and nastier.” Ok, mostly true, but according to who?

my husband hates “dogs are a man’s best friend” as he can’t stand dogs lol
it also seems to bore the child after a while
oh well i just hope they develop a real ek program

oh I hate all those comments too! They are not facts just options.

I usually turn off the picture audio for the same reason.
I think we should start a thread about this in LR : General Discussion,
hopefully our feedback will be heard, especially now , when the curriculums are being developed for different languages.

BrillKids EK program ! I will love to have it !
Lappy / KL ,

Are you on this thread !

Me too!!!

Sorry for asking so but I don’t know what is an EK Program. Can anyone explain or post a link that I could read about this program. Please.

Encyclopedic knowledge a la doman and his bits of intelligence

Thanks for your honest feedback, everyone, they have been heard - loud and clear!

First, we’ll try to go through all PA and change them to make sure they are strictly factual. If there are any others which you feel should be changed, please list them out here.

Second, re making an EK program, there are no plans for that at the moment, as we have our plate full (more like overflowing) with other things. If we did one, it would likely be in the form of an LR curriculum, though we may add more functionality to LR to cater for specific EK needs.

However, we can try to build some LR-based EK categories with the help of everyone! Please join in the discussion here:

I’d love it also. I’m new to the community and i must say i’m very, very impressed.
