Doman's Running Program

I’ve just finished physically superb and I am left wondering about the running. The book leaves it with running 3km, but on a lot of the material I’ve read online about the program, it talks about all their kids doing 5km runs. I am positive I also heard once about a list of different times for running distances at each age (so a 5 year old would be expected to run 3km faster than a three year old) but again there is no mention in the book. I am a little disappointed, as I knew most of the info in the book from HSYB and online, and expected a little more information for teaching things like gymnastics.

So, has anyone been to the institutes or otherwise know how to further the running program? Has anyone here actually followed it?
