do anyone use rhymes as a method to teach baby

do any one of you use baby songs or rhymes as a method to teach your baby. if yes then can you pls. let me know whose songs you are using.

my daughter is spending some times on watching barney songs and i want a better one for her to watch

I use a lot of rhymes and songs with my daughter, but that is because it is part of my culture - any normal nursery rhyme book is fine. I like DVDs that play songs like “heads and shoulders, knees and toes” and I am also using various Christian songs that we sang in Sunday School as many of them talk about parts of the body (my daughter is at the stage where she is keen on touching body parts when we say them)

There are also many “activity CDs” with action songs for kids. Here are a few names I found just doing a search on the internet - I haven’t listened to all of these so am not sure how good they are, but they should give an idea.

“Fun activities for Toddlers” - CD
“120 kids songs CD Set”
“Toddler Action Songs”
“100 favourite action songs and rhymes”

Hello, I use nursery rhymes to teach my baby English. They are part of our daily learning activities and we both love them. At the moment, we are using some different links on the internet , I hope you find them interesting.

I’ve heard about you recommending these sites and they’re really good but why don’t yuo create your own ones, they don’t have to make sense but help you to review yuor vocabulary and increse the babies’ and also develope your imagination and creativity try it I used to do it in my classroom and now with Marcia. Good luck
