Dangers of Tamiflu...

Thought to share an article I read in yesterday London Times in relation to Tamiflu usage in order to prevent swine flue…

And here some more information on Tamiflu, the drug prescribed for treatment of uncomplicated influenza A and B in children 1 year of age or older. It is also approved for prevention of influenza in people 13 years or older.

Skylark,

Thank you for the articles! I do not know what to do! My son who is 9 has asthma but we have discontinued al his meds because I have seen research that also discovered that all his medications causes aggression and change in behavior. He is a very bright child but has always struggled with his temper and social skills. Now I blame myself because he had been in the steroids and singulair since birth. Now we only give him the meds when he displays asthma symptoms and for the past year it has gone well. We have been able to manage his asthma that way. Some people may frown upon our choice, my peds do, but I worry about his quality of life in our family and at school when it comes to functioning as a wonderful, kind and considerate member.
