I am in the UK and would like to build a crawling track for our baby who is due in a few months. I am having trouble finding foam rubber, and am thinking of using camping mats covered with leatherette I found on the website of our local fabric store…but I need more and better ideas!
If you are in the UK and have made one, where did you get the materials?
I’m in the states, but when we built ours we thought about using those camping mats and a friend told us that was not a good idea because the glue will go through them and the baby will be expose to the toxic chemicals of the glue> Now, I’m not sure if it would be the same since you are covering it with leatherette, but just keep it in mind 
I have a crawling track free for anyone who is willing to pick it up.
