First Art-- Art Experiences for Toddlers and Twos by MaryAnn F. Kohl is another great resource for the little ones!

The book features easy to interpret icons that designate “quiet” or “active” projects, adult prep time, clean up supplies, art clothes, group and/or outdoor activities, as well as “caution” for activities that will need constant adult supervision or help.

Kohl shared great ideas for easy things you can make for your child… such as a table-top drawing easel (made with cardboard), art baggie book for your child to display their creations, a mini chalkboard and a fridge frame.

She also includes sensory stimulating activities such as: Feelie Goop, Clean Mush and Easiest Bread Dough.

All in all a pretty cool book!
