Core Knowledge Sequence by E.D Hirsch, Jr.

I recently bought a copy of the Preschool and First Grade editions of the Core Knowledge Sequence by E.D. Hirsch…you may be more familiar with the ‘What Your Preschooler/Kindergartener/1st grader, etc., Needs to Know’ portion of the title.

These really are pretty great overall views complete with reading lists and more. You could totally design an entire curriculum around these, adding only free supplements and library books!

Anyway, after having a look at their website, I realized you can actually download, FOR FREE! Both the Preschool and under set, as well as the entire K-8 guidelines! Awesome! Now stored in my Kindle for reference!

Thought maybe some of you might like the link…
