Chinese Language Resources

Dear Everyone,

For those who are teaching Chinese to their little ones, I came across this site that looks useful:

About ChildBook.com

ChildBook was started in 1997 in offering Chinese Books, Music, and Video’s to help Children learn more about the Chinese Language and Culture by a Husband and Wife who got frustrated finding good materials to bring up their daughter bilingually (Chinese and English). It’s now 11 years later and we are still going strong.

Hi,
I’ve ordered several things through them: the Little Pim mandarin dvd set, the My First Chinese Words 36books+cd set, Baby Learns Chinese dvds, Mandy and pandy book/cd sets (btw I don’t recommend books 3, 4 of those)… Childbook are great. They have good shipping rates, ship internationally (I am in Canada, they are US), and when a dvd I got was defective, they sent me a free replacement. Their customer service, read Ray who owns the site, is excellent. Quick replies to emails, quick to send out replacement dvds if there is an error in your order. I highly recommend them.

The site also features customer reviews (they give a $100 gift certificate to a random reviewer every month so you are really encouraged to go back and review what you have bought there) as well as comparative charts for various materials, and dvd video excerpts on site.
