My son is 18 months old and is going for his well-baby check up and vaccinations tomorrow. When he was 14 months old, he was exposed to the chicken pox (didn’t get it), but my doctor didn’t want to give him the vaccine because sometimes the vaccine can cause chicken pox like symptoms. She wanted to make sure if he did get the pox that it was indeed the pox or from the vaccine…My friend said her son got really sick after his vaccine. Is there any moms or dads that decided not to get their child vaccinated for the chicken pox?
I didn’t. I think the chicken pox vaccine is about the silliest one there is because it gives kids a light case of chicken pox, but then they’re susceptible to shingles which is way worse. My younger sister got chicken pox when she was just six months old and because she was nursing, didn’t get a very good case of it. The rest of us got worse cases of it, didn’t feel good for a couple of days, then were fine, nothing horrible. But when my sister was eleven, she got shingles and was in horrible pain for days. None of the rest of us got shingles when she did because we were all immune to it since we had all gotten a good case of chicken pox.
Anyhow, that’s just my story and the reason my son didn’t get the vaccine. Seeing the horrible pain my sister was in when she got shingles made me wonder, “What’s the point?” other than more money for the drug companies. Chicken pox isn’t like some horrible disease like polio or anything. You should do your own research of course but that was my story about it.
Thanx for the info! His Dr. said that the vaccine is not mandatory!!! So he won’t get it…
I would never give my kids the cp vaccine from an ethical standpoint either. It is made from fetal tissue cells from an aborted little baby boy. 
I’m sure the health industry doesn’t inform their patients of that!
Yeah, kmum, I agree and the hepatitis B vaccine is cultured in murdered fetal tissue as well.
Isn’t that horrifying? I’m sure many more people would refuse these vaccines if they only knew. I knew there was another vaccine made in this way, but couldn’t remember which one. If I ever do vaccinate I definately will not do these.
