Change in Brillkids Discount Coupons

About 1-2 months ago, I saw that there was an option to redeem points for 50% discount coupon for buying Aesop Book Set. At that time, I didn’t redeem the coupon since I wanted to wait for my bro to go to HK and carry it back for me to save shipping cost but his travel plan was not settled yet. Now I looked in the redemption again and found that the 50% discount coupon is gone. Now there is only 25% discount coupon available. Has this just been changed? Or the 50% discount coupon was an promotion that Brillkids offered 2 months ago (and maybe sometime in the future again).

Also, does somebody know where is the origin of the Brillkids products? I guess it’s Hongkong since the shipping cost is much lower than USA or Thailand. If this is right, I do have the question that why it takes so long to ship the books. It said in this website that the shipping time is around 10-45 working days which it’s pretty long… Do you have a shop that customer can stop by and buy the products in Hongkong?

At the moment BK doesn’t offer 50% discount coupons, however if you will combine 25% discount and Christmas sale 10% discount you will be able to get 35% off before January 1st!

There will be a few options available for shipping, 2 or 3 depending on your location, so you will be able to choose between an expedited delivery and regular mail (and in some cases an in-between option :yes: ) From my experience (hearing comments from people who have ordered from Russia, Middle East, South America and Asia) even regular mail was delivered faster them projected waiting time (think 7-10 days on the average), but a lot would depend on which country you are in and what is your local customs and post office policies. On BK side orders processed in a very timely manner.

BK has local distributors in 12 countries – Australia, Canada, HK, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapour, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, UK and Vietnam. You simply can chose one through the drop down menu on the BK online store page.

Next problem is my bro will leave Hong Kong on 6-Jan and it’d be good if the book can arrive at his address on 5-Jan which means less than 7 working days for delivery. From the BK website, it seems no luck to make this happens though :frowning:

Hi everyone, I have a small question on related topic. I also want to have 25% redemption in addition to Christmas sales, but I still need 500 points to reach that. Question - how can I earn points needed? I tried referrals, but haven’t got any points for that one. I really want to buy a present for my little one before New Year.

Here is the outline of how the points system work, you can get points for doing the following things:

Sign up for a BrillKids account 600
Completely fill up user information during registration 1000

You will earn points on the ongoing basis by being an active participant of the forums – posting ( asking questions, answering the questions from other parents, sharing your ideas, tips, research, what works and what does not work for you in your early learning journey), creating quality lessons to share with others, referring your friends and signing them up to be a member of BrillKids early learning community

IMPORTANT RULES

  • when a post you made is removed or deleted, the points you earned for that post is deducted from your account.
  • only members with 10 posts or more may give karma.
  • you may only give karma once per hour.
  • when your uploaded file reaches the 100th download mark, it will be placed in an approval pool so an administrator can judge whether or not your file can be granted premium status

About the delivery times shown in our online store, please note that those are simply estimates because the actual delivery time varies widely (especially for Regular Mail, which is done via local post). The most common cause of delivery delays are wrong / incomplete shipping addresses, customs procedures (if required), local weather conditions, traffic and other things like post office workers going on strike :ohmy:

We always try to process shipping as soon as we receive your order - within the day or the next business day (for orders placed on weekends or public holidays) - but once the products are with the delivery service provider, the time it takes for the product to reach your address is no longer in our control.

All BrillKids products are manufactured, assembled, and shipped from Hong Kong, unless expressly fulfilled by a local distributor. For US addresses, products are sent out from our US warehouse (except for LMs Basic and other teaching tools which are sent from HK). As soon as we send out your package, we’ll send you an email with your tracking information. In the event that we need to send your purchased products separately, we do make sure to provide separate tracking details for each package. You may also find your tracking code in your Account > My Purchases > Receipts & Records page, which we update along with sending your tracking email.

Thank you very much for the update about how to earn points. The previous rules stated that one needs at least 5 posts to give karma, but now I see that the correct number is 10. I thought I was not able to give karma because of the nook tablet that I am using for brousing.
