Fun, educational, and worth the money!
Have you tried Trio blocks by Fisher Price? My son got a set for Christmas and really likes them.

bicycle… fun… educational… (more outdoor, look at birds, plants , at the park)
music instrument, if she has not started on one yet.
Puzzles can still be good for this age.
Most kids like working with LEGOS (not DUPLO LEGO)
We love all construction toys especially Superstructs because you can build things that move and have gears- whirlygigs, cars, etc. - but they are expensive.
