Hi and thank you for posting ! I am looking to teach Mandarin to my DD as well and I am a little lost as to where to start ! She is only little but it is never too early, right?! It would be great if you could share some more about how you teach and learn with your daughter. Thanks !

You can check out Read With Me Mommy online store for interesting chinese storybooks for your kid. There are also learning materials, such as flashcards and DVDs to aid parents who are home-schooling their children. One good way to start is through chinese songs. Eg. Sing To Learn DVDs teaches the kids new words, before each song so that the kid can learn new words as they sing along. Other products are Wink To Learn Speak and Read (Chinese) which uses flashcards & real-life pictures to introduce chinese to the kids.
