Best Pre-Made Flash Cards?

Hey everyone,

I've been using the Brillkids little reader for a little over a month, and it is great, but I want to have flash cards as well. I don't have the time to print my own flash cards and then laminate them. I really would like to buy a large set of pre-made, laminated flash cards. Does anyone have any website they can recommend that sell flash cards in large lots? It seems the ones I've seen break the flash cards into sets of about 10 and sell them very expensively.

Thanks,
Ryan

I bought some Trend flash card from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Skill-Drill-Flash-Cards-Sight/dp/B000F8VGU0/ref=sr_1_4?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1336410071&sr=1-4

They are expensive and very good quality.

You can check out these flash cards.

The best flash card i have made is created by me. I have uploaded into my blog as I find that we can buy the flash card in the market however we could not have the prefect flash card which you think is suitable to use. SO. I would said the best pre-made flash cards have to done by yourself.

hi, i am new here…

have a question on teaching the flash card to the baby.

do u repeat the same flash cards everytime you teach or change to something new and repeat the same flash card after a few lessons?

I always change the flash card and never ask her before I change it ! For example : today i teach one, two, three, four, five the day after i teach four five six seven or sometime i jump to ten nine eight seven six… and even i repeat i use to do random selection from my flash card

hopefully is help

Each word should be viewed an average of 15 times before you move on. If you are showing one set of words, show that set 2-3 times per day for 5-7 days and then change to a new set. That would give you 15 views.

KristaG I live in London and am interested in purchasing some flashcards as well…I have checked the link on Amazon…and would just like to ask you what is the actual size of a flashcard?..Sorry if it sounds like a silly questions, but I didn’t find the information on amazon…

Thank you!

Sorry you could not find the information. We have a distributor in the UK who listed these on Amazon and I guess they forgot to post that. The cards are 5x8 " each. They have the word on the front and the picture on the back. The cards flip forward to make displaying the pictures much faster. There is also a small label on the back of each card so the parents can read them without having to look first. This is beneficial when flashing speedily is necessary. I hope I have answered your question. Please let me know if you have any others. I will mention that there are 40 cards/words per set and 80 words in the Sight Words pack.

You can visit their website directly at http://www.monkisee.co.uk/

Krista, thanks for sharing the website in the UK.

does any one know about a good place to purchase flashcards in Spanish?

The best i have found is http://www.gentlerevolution.com
I have also recently heard about
http://www.bayon.es/

Also, here is an idea, –

Instead of printing and laminating ( which obviously expensive and time-consuming), try this:

  1. print flash cards from LR ( the option is available in the program)
  2. Use reusable flashcards - https://user.brillkids.com/onlinestore/tls-reusable-flash-cards.php

We do this and it works great!
