my best friend will soon be having her first child and she want to wait until the baby is born to find out the sex! so what i need from all of you wonderful moms and dads is to give me a list of some of your favorite names for boys and girls! i was put on the task of helping her build a list of names since i am soon to be a god-mother! thanks for all of your help! i need atleast a boy and a girl name from each of you!
Look in the forum games board. I have a baby name game there. Other than that, have you googled baby names? You will see lots of great sites.
Names are tough. I found that after all we had picked, seeing the baby really made a difference to what we named our daughter.
The most unusual names I have heard for a boy are Hudson, Masey, and Trance.

For boys: Fabrizio, Valentino,Preston,Fabian
Some of them are Latin names but I think are nice.

Names are so hard, You don’t want to pick something they will hate and end up changing it when they’re older. My husband and I found girls names rather difficult and boys names really easy.
I love my daughter’s name Valerie Ann. We think is very feminine :happy: We also thought about Sofia, but every girl now seems to be named Sofia. It is like the trendy name for girls. :laugh: For boys I love my husband’s name “Michael”. I actually love both of his names, his middle name is “David”. If it was my choice and I have a boy, he will be “Michael” too, but there is a whole thing behind being a Jr. If we have a boy the second time around, his name will probably be Nicholas.
My brother’s name is “Sergio”. I actually like it a lot, it seems to be a name with personality, just like my brother lol
I think it also depends on where your friend lives and her last name. I think names need to flow with the last name. 
I think this is the best site for figuring out baby names - http://www.yeahbaby.com/baby-names-search.php. You can put in the number of syllables you want the name to have, and letters you do/don’t want it to start/end with. I hadn’t even thought of these things before I was looking for names for my kids, but you want to be aware of how the whole name flows together, and whether or not the initials spell something. My daughter is Anastasia Amara, but we were thinking of Anastasia Sophia… when I realized that those names, along with our last name, Stockho, would spell something not so nice, we re-thought her middle name. 
You can also limit the number of letters in the name, if you don’t want it to be too long, or if you have a preference for the number of letters. (I have a friend whose kids all have 5 letters in their first names.) And if you’re not that into unusual names, you can select to show only the most common U.S. names that fit your criteria.
