Baby Massage

I have been giving my baby a massage every ight after her bath and kept wondering what was a “good” massage. I found this video and I really like it because it is very detail. I have always used body lotion unscent instead of oil.

Hope you enjoy it!

PS. Ther is a little bit of advertising at the beggining, but it is worth to wait for the video to start.

Great video. It’s amazing how similar that is to an adult Swedish massage.

me and my hubby always gives my baby a massage everday since we had to applied eczema cream all over her body. she likes it very much and it is good also for her health

We also give our little one baby massages… it really helps to relax her! We use an organic baby body lotion by Cocoon. The scent is so soothing and it is free of the more suspect ingredients!

Very good video, tx. I used to massage my babies using a mix of Swedish massage (as in the video from heart to extremities) and Indian (opposite i.e. from foot up to bottom, etc.)I was taught the ILU stroke “right side up”,but always going left to right and it does help a colicky baby a lot. I also used to do arm and finger/toe rolls (like the one demonstrated on the leg)

One way to massage a baby too is by massaging the baby from feet to head. I prefer no lotion. I am so hesitant in using lotion for my baby. What I usually do is massage the feet up and down. then circular motion for the tummy. From left to right, in a very gently motion. Lastly, is the face and head. To make sure your using the right pressure, try massaging your eyeball gently. I always get a big grin from my baby boy everytime I massage. We both feel very good. Happy massage!
