Philip and I have had our second child, Kirima, a little girl born on 17 February this year. I had an induction as I am a type 1 diabetic but at 7cm dilated her heart beat started dropping with every contraction and it was decided that it would be safest to get her out by emergency Caesarian. She spent four days in NICU because her sugar levels dropped very low after the birth which is what is expected when the mother is diabetic. She is doing very well now and is home with her family. Her big sister, Laurana is very happy and loves her little sister very much. I am recovering well from the Caesarian. Thanks for all the support. I look forward to joining the community more actively again when we start educating this little one. Laurana got a lot out of brillkids and is moving very rapidly through books and all sorts of other things.
Congrats! I am happy to hear that you are both well.
Congratulations!

So happy for you, Tanikit! Welcome another Brill baby!
Congratulations Tanikit. I hope you recover soon from the cesarea and are happy that both of you are doing well. My grandaughter was born the 21st february. Who knows, maybe Kirima and Darya (my grandaughter) are going to start the learning process almost at the same time.
I will be nice to share our experience.
congrats
Congrats!!!
Congratulations!!!
I am so glad you two are doing so well now. I had an emergency c-section and wrapping my belly tight really eased alot of pain so I was able to move around to tend to my baby.
Thanks for the useful information! I helped your advice!
