Hey,
What I would looove to know is where are the cartoons without facial features…Anyone know…?
Thank you for this link. Dr. Mahdi Alosh, a dear colleague of my husband’s, is a leading Professor of Arabic language in America, and he endorses it:

And he is also on the Advisory Board of Arabic Academy:

This series will be good to help the children build up vocabulary as well as learn grammatical structures, indirectly, and the English translations help too.
Hmmm. This is a rather unrealistic viewpoint, which is based on following a madhaab (Islamic legal school of thought) with very literal interpretations of Islamic texts; when in fact it is a minority viewpoint in comparison to the other madhaahib (other Islamic legal schools of thought):
assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullah.
Thanks for the link. I belive that it is only unrealistic when staring in the face of a society with widesperead images. I am aware that there is a difference of opinion over the teaching of children with images and I have yet to look very far into it as I haven’t found any fatawa yet. (If you know of any, please link meee). But, when it comes to cartoons for entertainment I am really reluctant to believe that it is permissible. There are links available for Islamic materials that do not contain facial features. In my opionion I belive that having as little images in the house as possible is the best way to go.
