I have been looking for a Spanish speaking babysitter forever and/or Spanish speaking play group. I have no luck yet, and my greatest concern with homeschooling is providing an environment for learning a second language fluently.
It was brought to my attention that there is an option to obtain tutoring through skyping. I was wondering if anyone has tried this. I was wondering about using the services to have someone read to my children in Spanish. It runs around $9/hr. While its not in my budget right now, I was thinking next year it might be a nice step up in Spanish exposure for my kids.
My kids are 3 and 4, so I am not sure how it would work out for that age group, so if anyone has an experience they want to share…that would be wonderful and very helpful.
