I adore Shirley Temple. I read her first auto biography many years ago. I have a great respect for how she focuses her life. Like so many child stars it could have turned out so differently.

I really enjoyed the clip of Shirley Temple. We hear so many bad things about former child stars it is good to see a well adjusted sucessful former child star. I will have to read her book.

Tamsyn, Thanks so much for sharing! I loved Shirley Temple movies, and loved watching marathons on no-school days. I wondered what happened to her, but never looked it up (internet wasn’t so popular then). It’s nice to see how wonderful a person she turned into.
