A question for Spanish teachers

¡Hola a todos!

I have been mulling for some time the idea of starting a forum exclusively for Spanish teachers.

The purpose would be: bringing teachers out of isolation and sharing ideas for the benefit of all.

My question is: do you know of a forum that does this already? If so, please point me to it.

And if you have any suggestions for getting such a network started, I’m all ears!

You knowm that is a good point, I haven’t look for a site like that, but I think I will be a great resource for parents and teacher who wnat the help of spanish as a second language.

http://teachers.net/mentors/spanish/ - I have come across this one before. It’s simple to use but it doesn’t do what I would like a network to do: promote the teachers. It appears to leave them isolated.

http://www.csun.edu/~hcedu013/eslsp.html - This page appears to have a glitch in it… as I scroll down the letters get bigger and bigger. Enormous, in fact.

http://forums.theteacherscorner.net/forum.php - I like the look and feel of this one. It’s not exclusively for Spanish teachers.

http://forums.atozteacherstuff.com/ - A very well populated forum, again for teachers in general. There are so many posts it’s easy to find a number which are Spanish related.

http://teacherfocus.com/ - Another busy forum for teachers of all subjects.

As you and I discuss things via the virtual world it has become apparent that there really is no forum - or so it seems - for Spanish teachers to ‘gather’ in the virtual world and share.

Great thought - great goal - great vision!
