A long break from Doman's math cards

Hi All,

I was flashing Doman’s red dot cards to my son when he was 7-8 months old. We got to 50. We were doing some additions as well. We stopped and haven’t done it since. He is 15 months old now. I believe that the general rule is to not repeat and continue with the program but it seems like we had such a long break and he is so different (developmentally) now. Should I flash 1 to 50 cards again, maybe less repetitions a day? Or should I just continue?
Thank you very much to everybody who responds.

I don’t think there is a right or wrong answer, just start.

Maybe start at 40 and see how that goes.

Thank you!

Anybody else has suggestions for us?

My son is 15 mo too, and we’ve been using an iPad app called Baby Doesn’t Count, which does the same thing. He lights up when he sees the red dots and the addition of dots, but I’m kind of wondering what the next step is…

Thank you, Anamanda82. Are you saying that this app does not include subtractions, multiplications and divisions?
