Is there a huge downside to using standard cardstock to make bits?
We used 8.5 X 11 cardstock to begin with, & have even gone a lot smaller. I know it is not recommended, & wouldn’t go any smaller than 8.5 X 11 with a baby, but I have not seen any negatives in my experience. I’m sure there isn’t even an easily accesible source of larger cardstock in my area.
