Recently I bought two books with Spanish songs: Diez Deditos and Other Play Rhymes and Action Songs and de Colores and Other Latin American Folksongs for Child.
They are very good, nice songs, with translations BUT there are no CDs to these books. I just started to learn Spanish myself so I am not sure whether I pronounce words correctly and also what is the melody of these songs?? Does somebody know whether songs from these books have ever been recorded? May be it is posisble to hear them somewhere?

Amazon has some too if you don’t have ITunes, I don’t have any Orozco CD’s personally but have heard good things. From the samples I have heard it is very traditional sounding music.Search under MP3’s on Amazon and you can listen to clips, he has has a website.

This particular song clip is billingual and the spanish is at the end of the clip. I think there are lots of artists that sing these traditional latin american folk songs, you can search amazon/itunes & find a style of singer you like.
Whistlefritz has a CD out called “A Bailar,” it has diez deditos and de colores on it, along with Los Pollitos which is a favorite in our house.
