I do tell people. Okay well not everyone. I tell my parents and they are a little skeptical but nothing slows me down with teaching my son. I try to spread the word to people I used to socialize with who also have young children but so far I have not found any other mom I know who has or will start teaching their child . Thank you all for your posts have some insightful information I never thought of like if people try to test my son. I have had people tell me all I am teaching my son is how to memorize things and he will not understand concepts. I dont bother to agree or disagree I just tell them I will explain the concepts to him when he is ready to understand.
