I have really been looking into this lately and think that it is a great thing to do for your body. Now, I don’t think I would ever go 100%, but who knows?
I was able to check out several recipe books from the library, so you might check with yours to see what is available. The best thing I have found so far for my little guy is to make a “green smoothie”. Like you said a lot of raw foods are to difficult for little ones to chew without choking so this is the perfect solution.
All you do is take a large handful of greens, I have only tried spinach so far, then add lots of fruit, some water and ice and blend it all up. I put in bananas, apples, grapes and mangoes.
You don’t taste the greens at all. It is a bright green color though. Jacob, my one year old loves it! I was so excited, he will drink it through a straw. My 5 year old says she likes it but will only drink a little bit. She didn’t like the grapes because there were still bits of skin that just wouldn’t blend up. (my blender isn’t all that powerful).
My older boys wouldn’t go near it (8 & 11) they saw the spinach and the green color and ran! I don’t want to push it too much because if they know I realy want them to drink it they will want it even less.
Just google “green smoothie” and you should come up with a lot of options. But I have found it is great for getting raw fruit and greens into the little ones.
On the subject of raw milk. Does it taste the same as “regular” whole milk. Does it keep as well?
I found an all organic grass fed dairy farm just a few miles from my home. They sell raw milk in thier shop. So I am excited to give it a try. I was a little shocked that it was $10 a gallon  Guess I won’t be saving all that formula money after all. Oh well, any thing for my babies.
