Azaria isnt saying much, at 16 months, and when I see Maddy’s baby reading and saying 40 words it gets me a bit worried, but then I remember my son didnt say much until he was 3, and then he just started talking in fluent sentences much to my shock. My kids werent much of talkers, which could be because I’m not a big talker either, but they are scholastically intelligent.
The best way to get your kids to talk early is to talk to them…I talk to my baby about everyday tasks I am doing around the house and I also read heaps of stories…they love it…
the best way is to talk to them & not respond to things if they just point at them & try to explain without words.
my son used to point at things he wanted. when he was crawling i used to give them to him telling him the right word for it then when he was 15 months old slowly i stopped responding to him that way. now he 2 yrs old & talks a lot…
